Every send, view and save adds to an item’s score, and that score halves every thirty six hours. A meme that went round a hundred group chats last week is not still at the top today, which is the point: what is here is what is moving now.
Sending is what counts most, because it is the only one of those that means somebody put their name to it in a chat. Views are cheap and weighted accordingly.
